BORDER REPORT’S SANDRA SANCHEZ RODE ALONG WITH MIGRANT ACTIVIST EDDIE CANALES ON THURSDAY, JULY 14, 2022, AS HE PUT JUGS OF WATER IN REMOTE WATER STATIONS PLACED IN BROOKS COUNTY TO PREVENT MIIGRANTS FROM DYING IN TRIPLE-DIGIT HEAT. SIXTY MIGRANTS HAVE DIED IN BROOKS COUNTY THIS YEAR ALREADY. THE COUNTY IS LOCATED 70 MILES FROM THE MEXICO BORDER.
