BR_EXCLUSIVE Migrant arrests La Joya TX 04.06.21

Border Report's Sandra Sanchez captured exclusive footage before dawn on Tuesday morning of Border Patrol agents apprehending about 200 migrants near the Rio Grande in the South Texas town of La Joya. Agents off-camera candidly explained wrist bands the cartel give to migrants to divide them into groups and we have photos of the bands. Interviews of several apprehended migrants, most from Honduras and Nicaragua, talking about their journeys, their jeans still wet from crossing the river. Almost all had very young babies in their arms during the 5 a.m. apprehensions as they sat in a field at a community park. A Border Patrol agent passed out mylar blankets and cups of water.
