Suspect charged in deadly double-shooting caught on camera in Juarez

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Mexican authorities arrested a man allegedly caught on camera shooting and killing a couple who was stopped a red light in Juarez.

The murder suspect has been identified as Jose Carlos.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman victim was taken to a hospital where she died a few days later, investigators said.

The shooting happened on Dec. 22 in Northeast Juarez.

The incident was caught on camera, and the video shows a man exiting a vehicle, walking to the driver’s side of the truck and firing a gun several times before taking off.

The driver later crashed his truck nearby and was later pronounced dead.

The victim’s names have not been released by Juarez police.
