‘Surge testing’ in South Texas extended, hours modified

EDINBURG, Texas (KVEO) — Surge testing at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas, has been extended.

Testing will now be available from 8 a.m. to noon (CST) July 15-17. The last day of testing had been previously set for July 14.

Free ‘surge testing’ in South Texas as COVID-19 cases and deaths mount

Those interested in being tested do not have to show symptoms but must pre-register online.

The patient will then be given a voucher, which must be shown at the testing site. The results will be provided via a text message within three to five days.

The Bert Ogden Arena is located at 4900 South I-69 C, Edinburg, Texas 78539.
