South Texas border agents find Chinese nationals in stash house


MISSION, Texas ⁠— Border agents in South Texas uncovered two stash houses, including one where nine Chinese immigrants were being held, border officials said.

Authorities conducted a welfare check at a home in Mission, where they discovered nine Chinese nationals in the country illegally.

In a separate case, seven other undocumented immigrants were found in another home in Mission. The individuals were from Guatemala, El Salvador, Ecuador, and Mexico.
