President Trump now owes City of El Paso more than $569K for MAGA rally


EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) ⁠— President Donald Trump still owes the City of El Paso for a February campaign rally, and his bill now includes nearly $100,000 in late fees.

President Trump hosted a MAGA rally Feb. 11 at the El Paso County Coliseum. For police, firefighters and other city services, $470,417 was due but not paid April 26. In all, six city departments provided transportation and emergency services.

On July 18, the city issued another invoice with a 21% late fee. As of Aug. 17, the Trump campaign owes the city $569,205.

The city has said in the past that it will continue to add late fees to the bill if it is not paid.
