No foul play suspected after McAllen border agents discover three bodies


SULLIVAN CITY, Texas — Border Patrol agents found the bodies of three people Thursday in South Texas, officials said.

Agents found the bodies of a man and a woman together, and the body of another man about 100 feet away.

Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra, whose office is leading the investigation, confirmed to KVEO the bodies were discovered in a rural area south of U.S. 83, about three miles from the U.S. Mexico Border.

The people are believed to be migrants who crossed into the U.S. illegally. Investigators are awaiting autopsy results, but the do not suspect foul play in the deaths.
