Migrants from Central America caught by Border Patrol illegally crossing in South Texas

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Border Patrol agents in Weslaco detained 136 migrants from Central American countries on Tuesday night.

A Border Patrol news release said that 136 individuals, mostly families and unaccompanied minors, were caught illegally entering the country near the Hidalgo Port of Entry.

The migrants were from Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Cuba, the release said.

All of the migrants were process by the Border Patrol.
