Surveillance cameras spot wanted felon in US illegally

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A video surveillance system alerted Border Patrol agents to a wanted felon attempting to cross into the United States illegally Monday in Downtown El Paso.

Border agents 49-year-old Jorge Mora-Delgado, who had an active warrant for a probation violation from the U.S. Marshal’s Service.

In March of 2006, Mora Delgado was convicted of attempted murder in Los Angeles, for which he served 13 years in prison.

According to the authorities, he will remain in custody while he awaits prosecution.
