JUAREZ, Mexico (KTSM) — Two women were found dead in separate incidents in Juarez, police in the Mexican border town said.

On Saturday, a woman was found murdered inside her home in Colonia Morelos in South Juarez. Investigators said a family member went to check on the woman and found her dead inside. It is unclear how the woman died.

On Friday, a woman in her 40s was returning home with groceries when she was ambushed from behind and shot multiple times in Colonia Aztecas. Witnesses say two men wearing masks ran from the scene of the shooting.
