EL PASO, Texas (Border Report) — Border Patrol agents assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Sector have uncovered 30 human smuggling stash houses since the beginning of October, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection news release.

The latest happened Tuesday in Roma, Texas, where the police department there requested assistance from the Border Patrol after receiving a tip about a possible stash house. Officers and agents responded and in the residence discovered three undocumented who said they were from Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua.

On Monday, agents acting on a tip responded to a Brownsville home where seven undocumented immigrants were hiding. They told agents they were from Mexico, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
